Davido (David Adedeji Adeleke), OON, born November 21, 1992), is a Nigerian American-born singer, songwriter and record producer. Since his emergence with his breakout single, ‘Back When’ in 2011 featuring Naeto C, Davido has become one of the most influential and successful Nigerian singers ever. His discography – ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ (2012), ‘A Good Time’ (2019), ‘A Better Time’ (2020), and ‘Timeless (2023) are anchored landmarks in contemporary Nigerian pop music. With over a decade in the music industry, Davido has pushed Afrobeats into new frontiers. He is also a cultural ambassador for Nigeria and a prominent voice of human rights in Africa.
